Beat the Bell — Contest Rules & Terms

Beat the Bell is a game of skill operated by Kuberhunt Treasure Private Limited. These rules govern participation in every contest.

Last updated 11 July 2026

This contest is a game of skill based on general knowledge and publicly available market information. It does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or an assured/guaranteed outcome. Participation is voluntary and open only to active Edge subscribers.

1. Nature of the Contest

"Beat the Bell" (the "Contest") is a game of skill operated by Kuberhunt Treasure Private Limited (the "Company"). Each Contest invites eligible participants to make a prediction about a publicly verifiable market outcome — for example an index or stock price, an IPO listing price, a dividend, or a bonus ratio.

Winners are determined solely by the accuracy of their prediction against the confirmed outcome and, where applicable, the time at which the prediction was last edited. Outcomes are not determined by chance. The Contest is not a lottery, wager, betting, or gambling activity, and does not involve any stake on the outcome of any event.

The Contest does not constitute investment advice, a research recommendation, or any assured or guaranteed return. Participation must not be construed as a suggestion to buy, sell, or hold any security.

2. Eligibility

  • The Contest is open only to users with an active KuberHunt Edge subscription at the time of entry.
  • Participants must be residents of India and at least 18 years of age.
  • Employees of the Company and their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes.
  • The Company may verify eligibility at any time and may disqualify entries that do not meet these criteria.

3. How to Participate

  • Each participant may submit one prediction per Contest.
  • A prediction may be edited any number of times until the Contest's stated lock time ("Lock Time"). The most recently saved prediction before the Lock Time is final.
  • After the Lock Time, predictions are frozen and cannot be changed.
  • Predictions must be entered in the format specified for that Contest (for example a number, or a ratio in m:n form).

4. Determination of Winners

Each Contest uses one of the following skill-based ranking rules, stated on the Contest screen:

  • Closest prediction: predictions are ranked by the smallest absolute difference from the confirmed outcome.
  • Exact match: only predictions exactly equal to the confirmed outcome are eligible to win.

Where two or more eligible predictions are equally ranked, the tie is broken in favour of the participant who last saved their prediction earliest. The number of winners and the prize for each rank band are as displayed on the Contest.

5. Settlement

The confirmed outcome is sourced either from live market data captured at the stated settlement time, or, for outcomes without an automated data source (such as IPO listings, dividends, or bonus issues), from the officially announced value entered by the Company. The Company's determination of the confirmed outcome and of the winners is final and binding.

6. Prizes

  • Prizes are as described on each Contest and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash unless expressly stated.
  • Winners will be contacted to arrange delivery. Prize fulfilment, including collection of delivery details, is handled manually by the Company.
  • The Company may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where a stated prize becomes unavailable.
  • Any taxes or levies arising from a prize are the responsibility of the winner, save where the law provides otherwise.

7. Disqualification

The Company may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entry or participant found to be using automated means, multiple accounts, misrepresentation, or any conduct that undermines the fairness or integrity of the Contest.

8. Limitation of Liability

Participation is voluntary and at the participant's own initiative. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in, or inability to participate in, the Contest, including any decision taken by a participant in the markets. Nothing in the Contest creates any advisory relationship between the Company and any participant.

9. General

  • The Company may amend, suspend, or cancel any Contest, or these rules, at its discretion, with notice on the platform.
  • These rules are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Company's registered office.
  • These rules should be read together with the Kuberhunt Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Edge subscription terms.
